This study required quick turnaround written translation of discussion guides and pre-task activities, simultaneous translation during the IDIs for Dig Insights’ client, and audiovisual translation of the final interview recordings. It was imperative that the market research-specialised linguists and interpreters had subject matter expertise in orthodontics. Agility was key to allow for last-minute client amendments to the pre-task activities, before the IDIs could take place.

We consulted closely with Dig Insights to understand their IDI operations, and identify areas for time efficiency, including data transfer processes. Central to the success of this study was careful coordination of trusted, specialist interpreters, ensuring rebookings were possible without incurring additional fees.
